01 Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of all services provided by Biowell Skin, operated by Svetlana Smoliajeva (Dip NT, BANT), a BANT-registered Nutritional Therapist and integrative skin health practitioner based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
By engaging our services - whether booking a consultation, a single session, or a programme - you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full. Please read them carefully before booking. If you have any questions, please contact us before proceeding.

02 Our Services
Biowell Skin offers the following services:
Initial skin and health consultation (60 minutes, in clinic)
Personalised skin health programmes — combining advanced skin technologies with clinical nutritional therapy
Individual treatment sessions — including CACI Ultimate, Cold Atmospheric Plasma (Fusion 8), JWPro Carboxytherapy, JWPro Enzyme Therapy, Infrared Light Therapy, IHHT Oxygen Therapy, Sculpt Facial Massage, Thalgo Face Palp, and Corneotherapy (Dermaviduals)
Skincare using Esse, Dermaviduals and Thalgo professional ranges
Clinical nutritional therapy — personalised nutrition, supplement and lifestyle plans
Written skin health plans are provided following the initial consultation
All services are provided at The Clinic on The Green, Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, GL52 8DH, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
03 Important Health Disclaimer
Biowell Skin provides complementary wellness and skin health services. We are not a medical practice and do not provide medical diagnosis, medical treatment, or prescription of medications.
All therapies and nutritional therapy services offered by Biowell Skin are complementary to — and do not replace — conventional medical care. You are strongly encouraged to consult your GP or relevant medical specialist regarding any health condition before engaging our services.
Results from our programmes and treatments cannot be guaranteed. Individual outcomes vary depending on health status, compliance, genetics, lifestyle, and other factors outside our control.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing medical treatment, or taking prescribed medication, please inform us before booking. Some treatments may not be appropriate in these circumstances.
04 Eligibility
Our services are available to adults aged 18 and over. By booking, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older.
BioWell Skin reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if, in our professional judgment, our services are not appropriate for your circumstances.
05 Bookings and Payment
5.1 Booking
All bookings are made through our online booking system or by direct arrangement with Svetlana. A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit.
A deposit is required to secure your booking:
Services up to £99 — £25 deposit
Services from £100 to £250 — £50 deposit
Services from £251 to £400 — £100 deposit
For programmes (1 Month £320 / 3 Month £400), the £100 deposit rolls over and is held throughout the duration of your programme. It will be applied towards your final session payment upon completion. For single sessions, your deposit is deducted from your total balance on the day of your appointment.
Deposits are non-refundable in the event of cancellation within 48 hours or non-attendance.
This deposit is applied to the total cost of your treatment.
5.2 Payment
The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment. Payment is accepted by card or bank transfer. All payments are processed securely.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Biowell Skin does not store your card details. By completing payment, you agree to Stripe's terms of service, available at stripe.com.
We reserve the right to update pricing with reasonable notice. Previously confirmed bookings will not be subject to price increases.
5.3 Refunds&Consumers Rights
Once a treatment or consultation has been carried out, it is non-refundable. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a booking made online within 14 days. However, by confirming your booking and paying your deposit, you expressly request that your service begins within this 14-day period and acknowledge that your right to cancel will be lost once the service has commenced.
Any cancellation made within the 14-day cooling-off period remains subject to our cancellation and deposit policy set out in Section 06. This means that cancellations within 72 hours of your appointment will result in partial or full loss of your deposit as outlined in Section 6.1, regardless of whether the 14-day statutory period has not yet expired.
If a treatment cannot proceed due to a contraindication, your deposit will be refunded in full or transferred to an alternative appointment at your preference. To qualify for a full deposit refund on this basis, you must provide written confirmation from a qualified medical professional (such as your GP or specialist) confirming the contraindication. This must be submitted to us within 7 days of the missed appointment. Refund requests without supporting medical documentation will be assessed under our standard cancellation policy in Section 6.1.
Treatment programmes — if you are unable to complete a programme due to a medical reason, a pro-rata refund will be considered for any unused sessions. Written confirmation from a qualified medical professional is required to support any such request. Programmes are non-transferable to another person. All programme sessions must be used within 12 months of the start date.
06 Cancellation and Rescheduling
All appointments require a deposit at the time of booking. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before booking.
6.1 Cancellations by the Client
Cancellation more than 72 hours before your appointment — deposit transferred to your next booking or full refund.
Cancellation within 72 hours before your appointment — 50% of your deposit transferred to your next booking or refunded.
Cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment — deposit is non-refundable
Non-attendance without prior notice — deposit is non-refundable
6.2 Rescheduling
Rescheduling with more than 72h notice — no charge, deposit transferred to new appointment.
Late reschedule (less than 48h notice) — treated as a cancellation, deposit is non-refundable.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and can be arranged by contacting Svetlana directly via email or WhatsApp.
6.3 Cancellations by BioWell Skin
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we will provide as much notice as possible and offer a full refund of your deposit or an alternative date at your preference.
07 Confidentiality and Data Protection
All information shared with us in the course of your consultation or programme is treated with strict confidentiality in accordance with BANT professional guidelines and UK GDPR.
We will not share your personal or health information with any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law. For full details, please refer to our Privacy Policy at biowellskin.co.uk.
08 Client Responsibilities
To enable us to provide safe and effective services, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete health information at the time of assessment and throughout your engagement with us
Inform us of any changes to your health, medications or circumstances before your appointment
Follow recommendations in a manner that is safe and appropriate for your circumstances
Consult your GP or specialist if you experience any adverse reactions
Do not use our services as a replacement for medical treatment
09 Pre-Appointment Health Questionnaire
Prior to your initial consultation, you will be asked to complete a health and skin questionnaire. It is your responsibility to complete this accurately and to disclose all relevant health conditions, medications and supplements.
Biowell Skin reserves the right to decline or postpone a booking if the information provided raises a safety concern or if the questionnaire is not completed within the required timeframe.
10 Contraindications and Suitability
Certain services — in particular IHHT Oxygen Therapy, Cold Atmospheric Plasma, Warm Plasma and CACI Microcurrent — may not be suitable for individuals with specific medical conditions, including but not limited to severe cardiac conditions, active respiratory infections, pacemakers, recent surgery, active cancer, pregnancy, epilepsy, or any metal implants in the treatment area.
It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant health conditions at the time of booking and before each treatment. If a contraindication is identified, an alternative service or referral will be recommended.

11 Written Health Plans and Intellectual Property
All materials provided to you – including health plans, educational resources, programme documents, and written protocols – are the intellectual property of BioWell Skin. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without our written permission.
12 Limitation of Liability
BioWell Skin will at all times act with reasonable care and skill in accordance with our professional training and BANT Code of Ethics. However, we cannot be held liable for:
– Any outcomes resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you
– Any adverse reactions where you failed to disclose relevant health information or contraindications
– Any loss or damage arising from your failure to seek appropriate medical advice
Our liability to you shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
